This installation was a perfect match for the Smart SMS because of the variety of acoustical environments on the site: 75,000 sq. ft. on three floors, 300 speakers in 47 different zones and a full paging system. As you can see in the picture below, there are open areas, private offices, suspended ceilings and ventilation noise, all in the same location, with acoustic coupling between floors. For any other sound masking system, this situation would have resulted in a poor sound masking and great variations in the sound masking spectrum. However, with the Smart SMS features, we were able to obtain a perfect sound masking everywhere.
