Jeff Cauchon Appointed Executive Vice President

 In Announcements

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-François Cauchon to the role of Executive Vice-President, effective January 18 2020.

This nomination is timely in view of Soft dB’s outstanding year over year growth, and recent expansion across key strategic markets. We have a special mission here at Soft dB and this is reflected through our teamwork, our attention to product quality, and our dedication to customers.

Jeff’s strong strategic acumen and hands-on management style makes him a natural choice to lead this mission as we continue to scale and grow the Soft dB footprint worldwide. This new role will provide him with the wider outlook needed to help us bring our ever-growing product and service portfolio to the market in a more comprehensive and aligned manner.

Despite the commendable modesty on show, it’d be difficult to overlook Jeff’s contribution to Soft dB’s impressive progress ever since he joined us in 2016 as Vice-President and board member.

With deep sales experience in the technology sector, he provided critical stewardship as the company was transformed by some of the largest strategic events in its 20-year history. An electrical engineer by profession and, more importantly, a true entrepreneur at heart, Jeff instilled a remarkably strong sales culture which enabled us to turn our sound masking system into the industry leading solution it is today.

For the past four years, he has done an outstanding job of leading our sound masking division and the team of superstars behind it. We look forward to him leading our global operations with the same level of enthusiasm, focus and results.

As Executive Vice President, he’ll be in the perfect position to support our commitment to excellence, embedded in our three divisions—Sound Masking, Acoustical Consulting and Scientific Instruments—while driving innovative strategies to bring the overall Soft dB experience to new heights.

We wish Jeff every success in his new, well-deserved role.
